Pull-Apart Cheese Bread: A Gooey, Cheesy Delight for Every Occasion

Introduction

There’s something magical about pulling apart a freshly baked loaf of bread, each piece bursting with gooey, melted cheese. Pull-Apart Cheese Bread combines the comfort of homemade bread with the indulgence of cheese, making it the perfect dish for gatherings, parties, or simply a delicious snack. Whether served as an appetizer, side dish, or even as the main event, this cheesy bread is bound to steal the spotlight. Soft, savory, and irresistibly cheesy, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s as fun to make as it is to eat!

Ingredients:

For 1 loaf (12-16 servings)

  • 1 loaf of crusty bread (preferably sourdough or Italian bread)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tablespoon garlic powder)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the bread:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Slice the loaf of bread into a grid pattern, cutting it in both directions. Be careful not to slice all the way through; leave about 1 inch of the bottom of the loaf intact. This will create “pull-apart” pieces once the bread is baked.
  • Place the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil to catch any drips.

2. Make the cheesy filling:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic (or garlic powder), dried oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

3. Stuff the bread:

  • Gently pull apart the slices of bread, making space to insert the cheese mixture. Using a spoon or your fingers, stuff the cheese mixture into each slit of the bread, making sure each section is well-filled.
  • Once all the cheese is inside, pour the melted garlic butter mixture evenly over the top and into the cracks of the bread. Use a brush to spread the butter if necessary, ensuring every piece of bread gets a good soak in the garlic butter.

4. Bake the bread:
