With a cranberry filling and a hint of orange zest, they bring a festive touch to any table. Whether served warm with a cup of tea or as part of a hearty holiday meal, these rolls are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp orange zest (for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Preparation Method:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Cranberry Filling:
    • In a small bowl, mix the cranberry sauce, orange zest, and sugar (if desired) until well combined. If you’re using homemade cranberry sauce, make sure it’s not too runny; you want the filling to be thick.
  3. Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
    • Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface.
    • Separate the dough into triangles along the perforated lines.
    • Place a spoonful of the cranberry filling at the wide end of each triangle, making sure not to overfill.
  4. Roll and Shape:
    • Carefully roll up each triangle from the wide end towards the point, enclosing the cranberry filling inside.
    • Gently curve each roll into a crescent shape and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush and Bake:
    • Brush the top of each roll with a little melted butter to help them turn golden and shiny as they bake.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Finishing Touch:
    • Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
    • For a festive touch, dust the tops of the rolls with a little powdered sugar.
  7. Serve:
